About the Event
The Miss Black Georgia, Mississippi & Tennessee USA Pageants proudly invite supporters, sponsors, media representatives, business owners, and the community to attend an exclusive Essence Festival Weekend activation on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at NOLA Station in Kenner, Louisiana.
This dynamic brunch experience will serve as both a fundraiser and official send-off celebration for the Queens as they prepare for the upcoming Miss Black USA national competition. Guests will enjoy a curated atmosphere featuring live podcast discussions, networking opportunities, community conversations, sponsor showcases, vendors, and meaningful dialogue centered around leadership, womanhood, entrepreneurship, culture, and representation.
The event is designed to bridge pageantry, media, and community engagement while positioning titleholders and young women of color in spaces that encourage visibility, empowerment, and professional growth during one of the nation’s largest celebrations of Black culture—Essence Festival Weekend.
