Raven I. White
Miss Black Arkansas USA 2018
Reverend Raven Inell White is a dynamic leader, creative, and woman of faith whose life reflects resilience, purpose, and calling. Born in Gary, Indiana to ministers Derrick White and Denina Nash-White, she carries both Midwestern strength and deep Southern roots.
From an early age, Raven displayed determination and leadership—excelling in academics, the arts, athletics, and service. She became a classically trained vocalist, competed in pageantry, and actively participated in student leadership, community activism, and creative expression.
Her journey led her to Arkansas, where she attended Philander Smith College, performed with a symphonic orchestra, directed the Gospel Choir, and became a prominent campus leader. She later earned the title of Miss Black Arkansas USA, using her platform, “We’re Better Together,” to host self-esteem workshops and inspire youth across communities.
Raven expanded her impact through media and entrepreneurship, founding her own marketing company and working in radio and brand development with platforms such as iHeartRadio and Pandora.
In 2024, she fully embraced her calling into ministry and was officially licensed as a Reverend on March 8, 2026.
