Miss Mississippi River Pageant
Join us for an opportunity for an invitation to compete on the Miss Black Mississippi USA State Pageant Stage and a host of sponsored gifts. The Miss Mississippi River Pageant is for Ladies ages 13 - 27 who attend High School (Teen), a College, University or Work within the following counties- Warren, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton and Lauderdale.
Katherine Long, Director
Ms. Katherine Long is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Alcorn State University and her Master of Arts from Jackson State University. She currently holds a Specialist position within the United States of Veterans Affairs and has aspirations of moving up within the federal government. Ms. Long has over 12 years in performing arts in dance, modeling, and performing consulting. She gained her experience from being a former Dancing Doll captain of Jackson, attended Ballet Mississippi, Golden Girl at Alcorn State University from 2013-2017, Modeled with Jodi models, member of the fashion squad at Alcorn State, and is a current dance consultant and judge.
